Mike hails from Broward County, FL, where he was born and raised. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. There, he joined FCA and led that ministry team as president.
As a student-athlete, he helped to lead his teammates in an undefeated season, the 2010 SEC championship, and the 2011 BCS National Championship. He was drafted into the NFL and played for the San Diego Chargers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
From the beginning, Mike’s number one desire was to serve Christ as he let God lead his steps back to Florida.

Mr. Len Visser, took on the position of Assistant Head of School for Academics. He formerly served as Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology 2012-May 2021. He joined BRCS in 2003, after teaching for 10 years in Canada. Mr. Visser holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta, as well as a Master’s of Education from Covenant College in Educational Leadership. Mr. Visser has also taught fifth grade, middle school mathematics, Bible, computer, and science. Enjoying all types of sports, Mr. Visser is the very capable coach of our varsity girls’ volleyball team. He and his wife Mary Jo have been married since 2004 and have four children.

Mike Lightfoot is an American retired college basketball coach known for his career at Bethel College. He was Bethel coach from 1987 to 2017. He was the fastest winning coach in college basketball history, to reach the 300, 400, and 500 win plateau.
Coach Lightfoot also won more games than any other college basketball coach in the history of the state of Indiana, passing the likes of Bob Knight and Gene Keady.
Coach Lightfoot currently works for Nations of Coaches as a regional director and the ACC Network as a color commentator for basketball.
